Our Story

At Foxglove Chiropractic, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients of all ages. Our mission is to promote health and wellness in our community through a natural approach to healthcare, improving the quality of life for all members and ages through chiropractic care, passive and active modalities, community outreach programs, and education.

About Our Clinic

Located in the heart of Valley Junction on the east side of the street, we are dedicated to providing a comfortable and welcoming environment for our patients. We are currently only accepting Medicare, which means we do not accept other insurances, but can accept HSA/FSA payments. Upon request, we can provide a copy of the bill with services listed, allowing you to turn it in to your insurance. We believe that insurance companies should not dictate how often you can see us or what services you are eligible for, so we prefer to work directly with our patients to ensure they receive the best care possible.

Meet Our Doctor

Dr. Ruth McDanel, DC, our chief chiropractor, is a highly trained and experienced professional with a strong passion for her work. Born and raised in West Des Moines, Dr. McDanel graduated with honors from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. During her studies, she was trained in various chiropractic techniques, including diversified, Gonstead, and Thompson methods. She also took extra courses in low-force adjusting methods, such as the Activator, SOT, and Flexion-Distraction techniques.

Our Services

At Foxglove Chiropractic, we offer a wide range of services to cater to the unique needs of each patient. These services include:

• Physical therapy exercises and stretches
• Electrical therapies, such as ultrasound and cold laser
• Massage therapy
