Our Mission and Vision

Our mission at Schwartz Chiropractic Center LLC is to help our patients achieve a high quality of life and maximize their potential. We strive to help our patients achieve their personal health goals by developing individualized plans to help suit their needs. Our vision is to become the leader in health and wellness in our area through a high standard of care and patient-centered approach to our treatment.

Treatment Options

We offer a wide range of chiropractic services and treatments to our patients. These include joint adjustment techniques such as Diversified, Flexion Distraction, Sacral Occipital Technique, Mobilization, and Activator. Additionally, we provide soft tissue work including Myofascial Release and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (similar to Graston).

Joint Adjustment Techniques

  • Diversified: This technique involves the use of hands to adjust a joint to treat joint dysfunction by unsticking the joint that is moving improperly and improving its range of motion.
  • Flexion Distraction: Using a specialized table, the doctor can decompress herniated disks and help mobilize the back and improve spinal stenosis.
  • Sacral Occipital Technique: This technique uses wedge-like blocks to gently adjust the hips using gravity to improve hip and sacroiliac dysfunction.
  • Mobilization: Inducing movement in the joint without a high velocity low amplitude thrust to improve range of motion.
  • Activator: A mechanical adjusting device known for its safety and efficacy, allowing improvement in range of motion and treating joint dysfunction for people of all ages, including those with osteoporosis, children, those who have had surgery, and post-stroke patients.

Soft Tissue Work

  • Myofascial Release: The use of hands to release hypertonic (overly tight muscles) and release trigger points.
  • Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (similar to Graston): This technique uses stainless steel soft tissue tools to break up scar tissue and adhesions, great for treating numbness and tingling in the upper extremity, carpal tunnel syndrome, thoracic outlet syndrome, and plantar fasciitis.
