At Boehm Family Chiropractic, we have been dedicated to health and wellness solutions in our community for over 80 years. Our team, led by Dr. Heidi Ware and Dr. Kim Anderson, is committed to making you feel comfortable during your first visit and helping you become a part of our healthy lifestyle.

Our story began in 1932 when Dr. Enoch Kruse started E. T. Kruse Chiropractic. The practice was then passed on to Dr. Fritz Boehm in 1968, who renamed it Boehm Chiropractic. In 1998, the practice moved to its current location in the historic Briny Building. Dr. Heidi Boehm Ware joined the practice in 2004, after graduating from National University of Health Sciences. Dr. Kimberly Anderson joined the practice in 2012, bringing with her experience from Marysville, Michigan, and Traverse City, Michigan. Together, Dr. Heidi and Dr. Kim purchased the practice in 2012, renaming it Boehm Family Chiropractic.

Our Team

Dr. Heidi Boehm Ware, a Manistee native, graduated from University of Detroit Mercy with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine degree in 2000. She then pursued chiropractic at National University of Health Sciences, receiving a Bachelors of Science Degree in Human Biology in 2002 and her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in December 2004. Dr. Heidi joined the practice in January 2005 and became the co-owner of Boehm Family Chiropractic with Dr. Anderson in May 2012. She is a member of the Michigan Association of Chiropractors (MAC).

Dr. Kimberly Anderson graduated cum laude from the National University of Health Sciences in December of 2005. She had the privilege of serving as Student Council President and President of the Michigan Club, as well as being an active member of the Lambda Chi professional adjusting sorority, the Motion Palpation Club, and the Student American Chiropractic Association. Dr. Kim is excited to have joined Boehm Family Chiropractic in 2012 with Dr. Heidi Boehm Ware, serving the health care needs of the greater Manistee area. Dr. Kim is a member of the Michigan Association of Chiropractors (MAC) and the American Chiropractic Association (ACA).

Dr. Fritz Boehm, officially retired from practice as of September 26, 2016, bought the practice from Dr. Enoch Kruse upon graduating from the National College of Chiropractic (currently National University of Health Sciences) in 1968. He has been proud to care for multiple generations of families in the greater Manistee area in his 48 years in practice.
