Your Health Based on 4 Principles

Your health is based on 4 very important principles, and everything we do in this office is based on these 4 principles: 1. Your body is a self-healing organism. It is designed to heal itself! For example, you get a brand new liver every month. All the cells of your liver die and are replaced with brand new cells every 24 days! Every four months all of your red blood cells are wiped out and your body creates a completely new set! You get a completely new stomach lining every 5 days! Your taste buds are replaced every 11 days! Your body is in a constant state of change and repair, and in order to do this, it follows a very exact program! As your Chiropractor, it's my job to find out why YOU are not following the program! Your body is not doing what it is programmed and designed to do!

2. Your Nervous system is the thing that runs this program. It is the Master control that runs you! As long as your nervous system is able to communicate effectively with every organ, tissue, and cell, you should have the very best health you have ever had in your life. This is called normal.

3. If something interferes with the function of your nervous system and it is not able to do this, your body will not be able to do what it is designed and programmed to do - it will do its own thing.

4. My job as your Chiropractor is to locate and remove this interference to your nervous system, and allow your body to function like it is designed and programmed to do! This interference to your nervous system is called a Subluxation.

Subluxation

A Subluxation, occurs when a misalignment of one or more of the joints in the spine places pressure on a nerve. Nerves communicate from the brain through the spinal cord and nervous system. Pressure on the nerves can cause interference with the transmitted signal. This can cause pain and/or discomfort, as well as other symptoms. In addition to pain, other symptoms of a Subluxation Include: Headaches, Fatigue, Sleep Disturbances, Sinus and Allergy Issues, Mood Swings, Digestive Problems. Dr. John About the Doctor

I was introduced to Chiropractic in 1994 after I was injured while working as a truck loader at UPS. I had tried traditional approaches to resolve my neck pain and it wasn't until I visited a chiropractor that I got relief. That inspired me to change careers and become a Chiropractor. I've now been in practice since 1999! I married the Homecoming Queen (lucky me) from Faulkner University in 1996. We now have four children, all of which were born at home, and have never had a vaccination or shot of any kind! (if that sounds interesting, I'd love to discuss it with you.) I still see my own Chiropractor at least twice a month. So does every member of my family. It keeps our nervous systems healthy and functioning at their best.
