Our Story

Dr. Ortego's journey into the world of chiropractic care began when he suffered a neck injury during his football career at McNeese State University. His experience led him to pursue a degree in chiropractic medicine, and he went on to attend Life Chiropractic College, graduating cum laude in March 1982. Dr. Ortego opened his first chiropractic clinic in 1983, marking the beginning of a legacy of compassionate and effective care. Today, Ortego Chiropractic Health Center is one of the most reputable and well-loved chiropractic clinics in the greater St. Landry Parish area.
