About Dr. Scott Hale

Dr. Scott C. Hale is a Doctor of Chiropractic who has been in practice since 1985. Since graduation from Los Angeles College Of Chiropractic, he has been practicing in Placerville, California. His love for treating sports injuries and athletes came naturally due to the fact that he was a former figure and dance skater competing nationally from the time he was 5 years of age until he was 18. He was a two-time national champion in 1970 and 1972. He has served on the Medical Staff of the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Trials, Special Olympics, NCAA track competitions, and was former director of El Dorado High School Football Medical Staff. He treats many local and professional athletes.

Dr. Hale uses over 20 different Chiropractic techniques including full spine manipulation, Activator, Arthrostim, Flexion-Distraction (Cox), Graston, and active and passive stretching just to name a few. He couples this with physiotherapy techniques such as; intersegmental traction, ultrasound, muscle stimulation, and myofascial release. It's Dr. Hale's philosophy that his patients get back to wellness as soon as possible. He strives to find a pathway to health by incorporating many techniques. Dr. Hale works closely with many Medical Doctors in our area and can make referrals when needed.
