Our journey began with Dr. Cripps running the show single-handedly, and as our community recognized the value of our services, our team grew, and we moved to our current location at 906 Main Street North, Carthage, TN, in 2018.

Dr. Grove joined our family in 2021, and in 2023, Dr. Cripps opened a second office in Lebanon, TN, called Empowered Health & Chiropractic. Gus Cripps, the beloved dog of Dr. Cripps, has been an integral part of our team since 2023, bringing joy and warmth to every patient that walks through our doors.

Dr. Cripps founded Carthage Family Chiropractic in 2014 with a passion for helping others achieve their best health. With a second office now open in Lebanon, TN, Dr. Cripps' impact on the community continues to grow. As a dedicated chiropractor and the proud owner of the best office dog, Gus, Dr. Cripps leads our team with expertise and compassion.

Dr. Grove

Dr. Grove joined Carthage Family Chiropractic in 2021, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to our practice. As an integral part of our team, Dr. Grove is dedicated to providing the highest quality care, tailored to each patient's unique needs.

Bethany Walton, Director of Operations

Bethany Walton, an Arizona native, moved to Tennessee in 2011 and quickly became an invaluable asset to Carthage Family Chiropractic. As our Director of Operations, Bethany ensures that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. With her degree in Business Administration from Pima Community College, her expertise keeps our practice running efficiently and effectively.

Haley Penfield, Marketing Director

Haley Penfield, our Marketing Director, brings a unique blend of experience and enthusiasm to our team. With roots in the Midwest and Arizona, Haley now enjoys the beautiful green hills of Smith County with her husband Evan and dog Doozy. Graduating from Grand Canyon University in 2018, she began her marketing career in 2022. Haley's passion for marketing and the outdoors make her an excellent fit for the Carthage Family Chiropractic team.

Emily Hoot, Chiropractic Therapy Assistant (CTA) and Certified Lymphatic Therapist (CLT)

Emily Hoot is a vital member of our team, serving as both a Chiropractic Therapy Assistant (CTA) and a Certified Lymphatic Therapist (CLT). Born and raised in Carthage, Emily and her family moved to the Dominican Republic with her parents, who were missionaries. Returning to the United States in 2011, Emily joined Carthage Family Chiropractic in 2019 and has been an essential piece of our puzzle ever since. Emily's passion for the outdoors complements her role in our practice, where she helps patients find relief from their ailments.
