The Gonstead System of Chiropractic Analysis and Adjustment
By using the Gonstead system, our chiropractors can identify and address the root cause of a patient's health limitations. This system employs five basic analytical tools:
1. X-ray: To visualize the entire spine and evaluate disease processes, fracture, joint and vertebral disc integrity, and spinal misalignment.
2. Instrumentation: To detect uneven heat along the spine, indicating inflammation and nerve pressure.
3. Palpation: To feel areas of swelling, tightness, and abnormal texture through the use of hand palpation.
4. Visualization: To observe subtle changes in posture, movement of feet and hips, areas of blemished skin, and other indicators correlated with other findings.
5. Symptomatology: To identify patterns of health and illness, aiding in the diagnosis and treatment of each patient.
By combining these analytical tools, our chiropractors can deliver a specific, precise, and accurate adjustment, tailored to each patient's unique needs.
