At Ganda Chiropractic, we are dedicated to providing natural and preventative healthcare for the whole family. Our mission is to help our patients achieve optimal health and wellness through a combination of cutting-edge techniques and a personalized approach to care.
What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic care was founded in 1895 by Daniel David Palmer, who discovered the concept of the "safety pin cycle." This idea is based on the notion that the brain controls every muscle, tissue, and cell in the body. When the safety pin is closed, communication is continuous, but when it's open, there is an interference and the communication lacks. Chiropractic care aims to remove these interferences by realigning the spine and other joints to restore proper communication and promote overall wellness.
Our Techniques
At Ganda Chiropractic, we utilize several techniques to address a wide range of health issues. Our team of experienced chiropractors uses the Gonstead technique, which involves a five-step process:
1. Visualization: We examine the patient's posture, movement patterns, and skin changes to identify any areas of tension or imbalance.
2. Instrumentation: We use a heat-sensing instrument to detect any heat differences in the spine, which can indicate inflammation or nerve pressure.
3. Static palpation: We palpate the patient's back to identify any swelling, tenderness, skin or muscle changes.
4. Motion palpation: We move the patient's spine in various directions to detect any restrictions or fixation.
5. X-ray analysis: We take X-rays to visualize the spine and ensure the best possible care.
We also offer the Nasal Specific Technique, a powerful adjustment that involves inflating a blood pressure bulb and finger cots to mobilize the cranial bones and break up fibrous tissues. This technique can help alleviate chronic sinus infections, allergies, and headaches.
Additionally, we utilize the Webster Technique, a specific chiropractic sacral analysis and diversified adjustment designed to reduce the effects of sacral subluxation/SI joint dysfunction. This technique can help alleviate difficult labor for mothers and reduce the risk of dystocia.
