Our Story

At Peterson Chiropractic Clinic, Ltd., we have been providing precision upper cervical chiropractic care to Wisconsin and Minnesota for over 30 years. Our team of experienced chiropractors, Dr. Timothy J. Peterson and Dr. Ronald K. Peterson, have been treating patients of all ages from the Chippewa Valley area, including Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, Menomonie, Rice Lake, and surrounding cities, as well as the Eastern Minnesota area, including Minneapolis, St. Paul, and many other cities.

Our Services

We specialize in Upper Cervical Chiropractic Care (UPC), which is a type of chiropractic care that focuses on making adjustments to the atlas vertebra and the axis vertebra in the upper part of your neck to help you achieve better health. In addition to upper cervical chiropractic care, we also offer adjustments to the entire spine, hands, arms, legs, feet, and the rest of the body. We believe in natural, gentle methods to get you well quickly without the use of medications.

Our Approach

At Peterson Chiropractic Clinic, Ltd., we take a holistic approach to healthcare, focusing on optimizing our patients' overall health as opposed to just treating symptoms. We use a highly specialized precision upper cervical chiropractic technique called the Grostic Procedure, which requires absolute precision and a long learning curve. This technique is not easily learned and is only used by a limited number of doctors. We pride ourselves on our multi-doctor clinic, with both doctors attending continuing education seminars to stay updated on the latest research and adding the latest technology to assess and correct our patients' spinal problems.

What Sets Us Apart

We are one of the few clinics that use the Grostic Procedure, a precision upper cervical chiropractic technique that is not commonly used. This technique allows us to make gentle, precise adjustments to correct misalignments of the head and neck. We have patients who travel from great distances to seek our care, as they prefer the precision, low-force upper cervical technique that we use. In fact, data from a study shows that 90% of doctors who use this type of upper cervical technique have patients who travel out of state or over 100 miles one way to see them.
