At Chen Lin Chiropractic and Acupuncture, we are a husband-and-wife team dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our patients through a blend of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), Western medicine, and chiropractic care. Dr. Kevin W. Chen, D.C., LAc.
Dr. Chen is a highly trained and experienced practitioner, holding degrees in both Western and Eastern medicine. He received his M.D. from Sun Yat-Sen University of Medical Sciences in Guangzhou and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, CA. Dr. Chen practiced as a surgeon in Guangdong Province hospital from 1982-1986 and has been practicing as a licensed Acupuncturist and Chiropractor in the United States since 1986. He has owned and managed Chen Lin Chiropractic & Acupuncture Center in Oakland since 1987, treating patients with TCM (including acupuncture, cupping, massage, and Chinese herbs) and chiropractic care.
Xinyi Lin Chen, LAc.
Mrs. Chen is also a highly trained and experienced practitioner, holding degrees in both Western and Eastern medicine. She received her M.D. from Sun Yat-Sen University of Medical Sciences in Guangzhou and obtained postgraduate certificates in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. Mrs. Chen worked in the departments of Internal Medicine and OB/GYN in Chinese hospitals before immigrating to the United States in 1984. She received her acupuncture degree from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1987 and has since been practicing as a licensed Acupuncturist in the clinic she jointly owns and manages with her husband, Dr. Chen. She specializes in treating patients with TCM and advising patients on maintaining healthy diets, exercise, and drug regimens.
