Our Approach to Chiropractic Care
Our approach to chiropractic care is unique. We believe that the human spine is more asymmetrical rather than symmetrical, which makes it fundamentally different from any other chiropractic adjusting method. Our focus is on the top two cervical vertebrae, the atlas and axis, as they do not have intervertebral discs, are the most freely moveable, and are the ones most commonly misaligned and the easiest to be misaligned. Misalignments in other spinal vertebrae require far more force to occur and are usually as a result of significant trauma. They are usually secondary to an upper cervical (neck) subluxation. Since malformations in bone structure are the rule rather than the exception, Blair is the only upper cervical method that focuses on the alignment and misalignment of each individual joint, rather than an overall sectional alignment.

Benefits of the Blair Upper Cervical Adjusting Method
The Blair spinographic (x-ray) analysis is the only analysis that looks specifically at the joint (bone-to-bone) relationship to determine alignment or misalignment, allowing for exceptional accuracy in detecting even very small misalignments that can and do interfere with, and cause irritation to, vital nerve tissues controlling all functions in the human body. A bodily injury or force may result in the skull shifting to one of these upper neck (Atlas/Axis) vertebrae, leading to ligament stretching, damage, and/or tearing, resulting in the person's head remaining in a subluxated (misaligned) position. The Blair adjustment is a gentle and effective intervention to restore normal skull-atlas relationship and head and neck realignment, allowing for the nerves to rejuvenate and begin controlling the supporting musculature, ultimately allowing for faster and more complete healing.

Dr. Murray Galbraith has been helping people live a wellness lifestyle since 1978. After starting his first office and practicing for 7 years in South Florida where he grew up, he moved to Temecula and has been in active practice there since 1987. Dr. Galbraith holds licenses in Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Colorado, New York, Washington, Montana, and California. He has served as a member of the Representative Assembly of the International Chiropractors Association for both Florida and California for over 25 years, as well as a board member of the International Chiropractors Association of California. He is active in the Blair Chiropractic Society and a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
