Main Street Chiropractic & Laser Pain Relief, LLC is a reputable chiropractic clinic located in the heart of Waunakee, Wisconsin. Our clinic is situated near the intersection of Main Street and Madison Street, directly beside Kwik Trip, with a parking lot at the back for our clients' convenience.
Our clinic is owned and operated by Dr. Mark Schlappi and Dr. Heidi Karr-Schlappi, both Waunakee natives and proud alumni of Waunakee High School. The couple, who are high school sweethearts, both played sports during their time in high school, with Dr. Mark participating in football, hockey, and baseball, while Dr. Heidi played soccer and volleyball. They both went on to attend St. Cloud State University, where they earned their respective bachelor's degrees. After graduation, they both pursued their Doctor of Chiropractic degrees at Palmer College in Davenport, IA.
After getting married and graduating from chiropractic school, the doctors opened their first chiropractic clinic and yoga studio in Illinois. In 2012, Dr. Heidi was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma cancer and underwent chemotherapy treatment at the Carbone Cancer Center at UW Hospital. After going through such a life-changing event, the doctors decided to sell their practice in Illinois and move back to Wisconsin. In 2016, they opened Main Street Chiropractic & Laser Pain Relief, LLC, and have since enjoyed being able to work together every day, helping their family, friends, neighbors, and community members live better quality lives.
